In this ever-changing world we would like to keep our owners informed of what Alpine County is communicating in terms of COVID-19 in our Kirkwood area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meadow Stone Lodge advocates complying with these guidelines set forth by our Public Health Department. We have new signage for elevator capacity and wearing masks in public. We are frequently cleaning touch points in our community and providing information to our owners and guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Congratulations!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Because of our cooperation as a community working together, we are only one of 3 counties that have landed in Tier 4 in Governor Newsom\u2019s \u201cBlueprint for a Safer Economy\u201d during COVID19: https:\/\/www.cdph.ca.gov\/Programs\/CID\/DCDC\/Pages\/COVID- 19\/COVID19CountyMonitoringOverview.aspx<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n You can read the details on the link above, but what does this mean specifically for Alpine County? A new risk-based approach has been applied to the various sectors, which dictate the level of operations and capacity permitted at each specific tier. Since we are in \u201cTier 4 \u2013 Minimal\u201d, we are permitted to open the various sectors according to the information in the following link:<\/p>\n\n\n\n https:\/\/www.cdph.ca.gov\/Programs\/CID\/DCDC\/CDPH%20Document%20Library\/COVID-19\/Dimmer- Framework-August_2020.pdf<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n For us, this will create opportunity for museums, restaurants, and bars to expand their services as outlined. This will take effect on Monday August 31st.<\/p>\n\n\n\n CAUTION: We have only had 2 cases of COVID19 in residents in the last 6 months. It would only take 2 cases in a 2-week period to elevate us into \u201cTier 2 \u2013 Substantial\u201d. We need to diligently follow the usual measures to keep moving forward:<\/p>\n\n\n\n – Keep your distance at least 6 feet apart from anyone outside of your household<\/p>\n\n\n\n – Wear your mask outside of your household when you are near others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n – Wash your hands frequently<\/p>\n\n\n\n – Minimize social mixing between households and communities. If you participate in backyard or other gatherings, follow the first 3 measures above<\/p>\n\n\n\n – Get tested frequently<\/p>\n\n\n\n Richard O.
